Youth and Teen of the Month


Each month, one Club member is honored for their overall character and citizenship. Club members are chosen based on overall behavior, initiative, willingness to give back and attitude. Our Youth of the Month winners are rewarded monthly and then encouraged to apply for our Youth of the Year and Jr. Youth of the Year programs.

Meet Nathaniel

Youth of the Month

Nathaniel has been a member of the Club since June 2021. He has come such a long way this last month that he is even setting a good example for the other members and helping out staff.

Meet Faith

Teen of the Month

Faith is one of our longest attending members at our Club. She is respectful to staff and her peers. She participates and sets a good example for others during activities and downtime. We appreciate the great work and helpfulness she has given to us.

The Club is special to him because... “it is a lot of fun and my second home.”

Meet Avery
February Youth of the Month

Avery is twelve years old and has been attending the Club for 7 years. His favorite thing to do at the Club is participate in the STEM program. Avery was selected as Youth of the Month because of his outstanding behavior and leadership. 

Meet Eric
January Youth of the Month

Eric is 12 years old and has been attending the Club for a year and a half. He was selected as Youth of the Month because we have seen great improvements in his social skills and participation. He follows all Club rules and is quick to remind other members of them when they forget. His favorite thing to do at the Club is draw and dance. 
The Club is special to him because... “It’s a place to play and make friends.”
The Club is special to her because... "The staff take care of me and there are a lot of people that I can talk to." 

Meet Samaire
December Youth of the Month

Samaire is nine years old and has been attending the Club for one year. Her favorite thing to do at the Club is abstract painting. She was selected as Youth of the Month because of her outstanding behavior. Samaire helps clean and organize the art room regularly because it is her favorite place to be. 

Meet Carla
November Youth of the Month

Carla is nine years old and has been attending the Club for five months. She was selected as Youth of the Month because of her help around the Club and her excellent behavior. She is always ready to lend a helping hand to the staff and her peers. Carla’s favorite thing to do at the Club is play chess and paint. 
The Club is special to her because... “I learn and have fun here.” 
The Club is special to him because... “Everyone especially the staff, are nice and encouraging.”  

Meet Cameron
October Youth of the Month

Cameron is thirteen years old and has been attending the Club for one year. He was selected as Youth of the Month because he has become a great role model at the Club. He is always respectful and participates in many different activities after he completes his homework. His favorite thing to do at the club is play basketball and practice with the jazz band that was recently started. 

Meet Christian
September Youth of the Month

Twelve-year-old Christian has been coming to the Club for 5 years. He was selected as Youth of the Month because his behavior and participation has improved ten fold, and he has made diligent efforts to get his homework completed daily, which hasn't always been a priority for him. His favorite thing to do at the Club is to play capture the flag. We are so proud of the recent progress and growth that Christian has made!
